Handmade paper 

We love to work with this paper. Our deckled edge paper has a subtle and unique imperfections created by human hands and natural ingredients, are more beautiful than superficially ‘perfect’ products – we think.

Unfortunately, the worldwide industry standard dyeing process involves all sorts of nasty chemicals which are toxic and draining to the environment; using more energy, more water and producing more waste. The entire process has direct and distressing impacts on aquatic life; soil damage, global warming and let's not forget how harmful this is to the dye workers.

By purchasing the handmade paper, you are contributing to a more sustainable, more ethical and more environmentally friendly products. Natural dye process requires minimal amounts of water, no chemicals, salt or acids. You really are purchasing a one of a kind, slow crafted, lovingly made product. You will love this soft and gentle to the touch handmade paper.

Papers
If you are unsure the type and /or quality of the paper for your stationery, please request a sample pack from us. Once an order has been placed no refund is available including if you don't like the paper you've requested.

Color
We don't print on coloured paper (unless is requested, printing on colored paper is much more expensive), we print colour on white paper. If you require your stationery to be printed on coloured paper, require a custom order from our shop.

Timeframes
The timeframes given for producing stationary are best estimates only. Certain factors outside our control will occasionally extend those times including public holidays; printer issues or delays, e.g., equipment breakdown or temporary paper shortages; postal strikes; bad weather, e.g., floods, tornados or volcanic eruptions preventing delivery; flight delays, sicknesses, etc. Whilst every effort is made to meet the indicated times, they are estimates, only and Paradise Invitations is not responsible for such delays.

Proofs
Once a proof is approved by a customer - it is final. What is approved is exactly what will be provided by Paradise Invitations. For example, if envelopes are approved without a return address, they will not have a return address. Please do not make any assumptions about what will or will not be on the stationery supplied. What you approve, as per the proof, is what you will receive. Please read proof multiple times and ask other family members or friends to read proof for you - it is very easy to miss something.

Use of stationery for promotional purposes
Paradise Invitations reserves the right to use images of any stationary produced for clients in the promotion of its business. If you do not wish this to be the case, please advise us on approval of the proof. 

Returns 
If your item is damaged or flawed, please let us know within 30 days of receipt and we will replace the items for you right away.

Cancellation policy 
Once a deposit or payment has been made, it is not refundable, including when an order is modified or cancelled. This is because envelopes and materials are purchased when the order is placed, and Paradise Invitation's time and resources have been invested up to the point of order. 
Where the size of invitations or envelopes are changed, an additional fee will be charged to reflect the extra work.

Refunds
Due to the custom nature of invitations, refund and exchanges are not accepted. Personalised invitations are not like a dress that can be returned to the shop, refunded, and sold to someone else.

Shipping
At Paradise we take care of your order from the start till the end. International parcels are sent via ultra-reliable DHL Express. If the parcel doesn't arrive to the destination, we happily will reprint and resend it straight away. 

Confirmation
Before the parcel is sent - we always confirm your address by sending you an email.

IMPORTANT: Once you make the purchase you agree to the shop’s terms and conditions and policies.
